Lynx ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Lynx mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app. Please read this policy carefully. By using Lynx, you consent to the practices described herein.

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically:
- Account information: When you sign up with Google, we receive your email address and display name from your Google account.
- Profile data: You may provide a profile photo (avatar) and display name.
- Event participation: When you create or join events, we store event details, your responses (accepted/declined/waitlisted), and attendance records.
- Contacts: If you add contacts within the app, we store contact relationships to enable event coordination.
- Device identifiers: We store a push notification token (OneSignal player ID) to send you event reminders and updates.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Lynx service
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Send push notifications about events you are invited to or participating in
- Calculate and display your reliability score based on event responses and attendance
- Enable event organizers to manage invitations and track attendance
- Respond to your requests and support inquiries
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Firebase / Google: Authentication (Google Sign-In) and backend infrastructure. Google's privacy policy applies to authentication data: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not use analytics or advertising services. Firebase Analytics is disabled in our app.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and event data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
6. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the Lynx app. Account deletion will remove your profile, event participations, and associated data. Some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for legitimate business purposes. To request account deletion, use the in-app account settings or contact us.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on secure servers.
